Silent Films at Cottage Road Cinema

The Cottage Road, as part of its policy of resurrecting classic films, is proud to present Buster Keaton in probably his finest feature, " The General".

The black and white silent films of the early 20th century were always accompanied, usually by a pianist, to create the right mood to complement the images on the screen. In that tradition, Cottage Road cinema will be showing a selection of the all-time silent greats , accompanied by a live soundtrack supplied by students of Leeds College of Music. Take a trip back in time and enjoy yourself as your Grandparents/Greatgrandparents did in the 1920s !

Musical accompaniment will be by a talented young musician, Aron Kyne, who is currently studying at Leeds College of Music.

P.S. Why not attend in retro/vintage clothing to have more fun ?!?!
